Kindergarten Orientation

When will I know who my child’s teacher is? please see below

When is the office open?  Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm

What time does school start and end?  8:30 am - 3:05 pm

When do I find out what bus my child will take? Closer to the start of school.  Transportation sends out an email advising of the stop and bus number once routes are confirmed.

Is there an onsite daycare? Yes, Common Ground.

What are some of the daycare facilities around our school? We have a list of schools that are nearby or that have transportation that they provide for your student.  We do not recommend any one of them specifically.

What is the first day of school?  In 2023 school will start August 28.  Kindy's will be part of a one on one evaluation with the teaching staff on the 28 or 29th of August. 

A - L will start on the 30th with M-Z attending the 30th. 

All Kindy's will start on Friday, September 1.  Tuesday Sept 5 will be a full day for all kindy's 

1. Online enrollment - Save your ParentVue login.  You will need it throughout the time your student attends Beaverton Schools. The Non-enrolling parent can and should set-up their own ParentVue account. Our office can assist you with an activation key.  Students must be 5 prior to September 1.  This is a state requirement.

2. Documentation needed:

      A. Proof of address - Drivers License - Utility Bill - Purchase or rental agreement.

      B.  Birth document - Birth Certificate - Baptismal certificate - Passport.

      C.  Immunizations records -  All students must have at least 1 vaccine in each category before starting, exclusion day is normally in February.  At that time, all vaccinations must be up to date.  If you choose to opt-out of vaccinations, a certificate is required showing that you have been advised of the risks of not vaccinating. 

If these items were uploaded during registration, you do not need to bring them in to us.
