Strategic Plan Measure: % of students who consistently demonstrate the six habits of mind
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): By June 2024, 85% of our K-5 students will consistently demonstrate the six habits of mind.
Available Leading indicators for this Measure: % of our K-5 students are currently consistently or generally demonstrating the six Habits of Mind.
Strategic Plan Strategy: Habits of mind strategies explicitly taught, practiced and nurtured.
- Action: Articulation conversations in Vertical Alignment Committees to develop consistency and calibrate grading practices
- Action: Classroom teachers will explicitly teach students about the Habits of Mind using rubrics and examples
- Action: 3rd-5th grade students will have opportunities to reflect on their own Habits of Mind
